Jenna selected for GB Indoor CE

Team Bath ACs own Jenna Blundell has been selected to represent Team GB at this years Combined Events Indoor international match. This follows her performance at the National Indoor Championships where she secured the bronze medal.

This year UK Athletics are the host for the international competition between Czech Republic, Spain, France, Poland and Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The competition will take place at the Cardiff NIAC along with the Welsh Senior National Championships.
British Athletics intends to support the annual International Match Combined Events by selecting the strongest team possible.

10 Week Half Marathon Initiative

Team Bath AC are starting a new initiative to welcome all runners to join a 10 week half marathon training programme. Whether you are a long-time runner, or are stepping up from parkrun to a half marathon for the first time – this is an exciting opportunity to meet people, be coached, use excellent facilities, and experience the friendly atmosphere and encouragement from running with the club. Suitable for all ages, levels and standards.   
Starting from w/b 7th January 2019 for those running Bath Half (or other spring half marathons). Team Bath AC have a desk in the Sports Training Village at the Uni of Bath (BA2 7AY) from 6:30 on Tues & Thurs evenings. Just come along and speak to the desk who will point you in the right direction (club runs/track sessions start at 7pm). 
For the full programme there will be a single cost of £30, but first just come up to the club one evening this week and see what its like

Running Bath 5K Time Trial

RunningBath have agreed to sponsor the 5K Time trial again in 2019.

Malcolm and Neil Turner from RunningBath will present the prizes for the 2018 series at 7pm in the entrance to the sports village on Tuesday 8th January.
