The Welsh Castles Relay is on Saturday the 8th and Sunday the 9th of June 2019. It is a wonderful event where we get to do lots of bonding with our team mates and cheer each other on.  We meet people from clubs all over the country and a good time is had by all!!!!
Team Bath AC have just entered two open teams. That means whatever your gender, size, shape, speed, (anyone over 16 years old can run)you can be a team member. We are looking to increase inclusion from all corners of the club and would be delighted to have lots of new runners.  The description below, and the link to the Les Croupiers Running Club site, gives lots of information but also if you have any questions please contact the team leaders Jo Thompson, Dave Coales or  Dan Jones. (emails below)

The link below describes the race but in short it is a 2 day, 20 stage relay road race from Welsh castle to Welsh castle from Caernarfon to Cardiff. The stages are between 7 and 13 miles and there are hilly, flat and downhill stages and maybe the odd one that goes over a mountain.   Each team member does one stage. We have accommodation booked for Saturday nightin Newtown and transport is provided if you need it. It is great to spend the whole weekend or if time commitments don’t allow just the Saturday or the Sunday   It is 20 pounds ( plus a bit for accommodation if you use it) to run and for that you get all the above and a goody bag at the end of the stage. You only pay if you run!!!!! .

If you would like to be a team member or have questions, please contact me Jo Thompson at  welshcastles@teambathac.org  or Daniel Jones at  welshcr@teambathac.org and we will put you on the list.  If you have a preference for a stage or day please indicate that in your email.
