It was great to see such a large turnout for the awards evening hosted by Paralympic & World Gold medallist Paul Blake and our own John Webster.

Awards were given out for the age group winners in the Avon League this season and the league winners trophy. Also the normal awards for highest points on each age group were presented.

This year also saw the inaugural Melvyn Potter Award presented by Adam Potter, Melvyn’ son. The winner was presented with the award and a year’s free membership for the club. The winner this year was Caitlin Wosika, with runners up Ransford Ako’nai and Jonny Evans.

We were honoured to be join by Melvyn’s widow Shirley and his son Adam, along with Paul Blake who was hugely entertaining.
